A Warm Welcome
From our Headteacher

It is a great privilege to be able to create a legacy for future generations that is built in, by, and for Stoke. Leading the Co-op Academy Florence MacWilliams project from inception and seeing it through to fruition is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Florence opened its doors in September 2024 in temporary accommodation, welcoming our founding cohort of 120 Year 7 students. Through collaboration with the Local Authority and the DfE's Free School program, Florence has established itself as an important addition to Stoke-on-Trent's educational landscape. From September 2025, staff and students will transition into our state-of-art facility, expanding each year until reaching full capacity of 1150 students in 2030.
The photo gallery below shows you how our new building in Meir is shaping up. The external cladding and brick slips are going on and we can’t wait to move into this fabulous brand new facility for September 2025!
